Old lamp in london

Dear Readers of “Artistic Visions”,

As we enter November, we find ourselves gradually approaching the end of the year. The days grow shorter, and the mornings colder — a gentle reminder of the natural rhythm of life.

For an artist like myself, who spends most of the time travelling and working outdoors, this season often brings a quieter period — one that invites me to spend more time indoors. It is the time of year to “put things in order,” to complete the last creative projects envisioned earlier in the year — such as books, reflections, and photographic series.

This quieter rhythm also allows more space for writing and contemplation, and as always, faint ideas for future journeys and projects begin to take shape on the horizon.

Recent Exhibitions

Last month, my artwork “Frayed Silence” was exhibited in Paris. I am pleased to share that, following the success of this collaboration, I will continue working with the event organisers on future exhibitions as well.
A full list of upcoming exhibitions and projects will be published in next month’s newsletter.

New Fine Art eBook: “The Spirit of London”

I am also delighted to announce the publication of my first fine art eBook in the “Spirit of…” series, titled “The Spirit of London.”
This artistic book reflects my most recent visit to London — a city that has always fascinated me with its contrasts of light, history, and atmosphere.

The eBook contains 26 black-and-white photographs, presented in a minimalist layout and accompanied by brief poetic reflections. It is available in PDF format and can be comfortably viewed on computers or tablets.

Rather than a conventional photo book, The Spirit of London follows the visual language of art postcards, where each image becomes an emotional vignette. Through my lens, I sought to capture not the landmarks, but the spirit of the city itself — its fleeting light, quiet corners, and the poetic solitude found amid the urban movement.

A selection of images from the eBook can also be viewed here:

This publication marks only the beginning of the “Spirit of…” series. I plan to continue this project by exploring and artistically interpreting some of Europe’s most evocative places, whether natural landscapes or urban environments, each seen through the timeless medium of black and white fine art photography.

Looking Ahead

I prefer not to move too far ahead in time — but I can already say that January’s newsletter will reveal more about my upcoming plans, new artistic directions, and next volumes of the “Spirit of…” collection.

Thank You

Once again, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for taking a few moments to read my November newsletter. Your attention and support mean a great deal to me.

Until next month —
With respect and gratitude,
Csaba Deák
